A grandfather holds his grandchild’s hand for a while and their heart for a lifetime. Only a grandfather is always willing to suffer just to cheers his little grandchild .There is a unique bond of love between grandparents and grand child.
In our film “DADA JI KI DIARY “ grandfather of Suraj , writes a Diary before dying in which all the memories related to suraj and dadaji were written.

Director Biography

Ram Prasad Mandal is an Indian writer and director,He born and brought up in Jharkhand,He started his carrer in mumbai as an assistant director, In 2016 he writes and directed 3 short movies- Dada ji ki diary,Switch Off,Beggars.

Director Statement

This is a story of Generation Gap
Very often we have become modern , and because of that we continue to forget our roots and that is very terrible.The roots of our families is still our Grandparents. To make their families better and modern every grandparents sacrifices their desires and hopes.But when they need our support in their oldage , very often people hurt them or their expectations.
During Childhood , grandfather answers every silly question of his grandson with smile and happiness , instead of scolding him ,But during oldage of grandfather he never gets any answer with smile from his grandson . Every human being needs to take a look inside themselves and towards their memories , then only they will realise the importance of their Grandparents. No matter how heartless life will become but we should not hurt our grandparents.
