Congratulations The Great Meandros film for being nominated for best Documentary at iChill Manila Int Film Fest!

Being among outstanding basins of Turkey and the world and covering an area of 25.000 square km; the Great Meandros River which is the main moulder of the Great Meandros and vital point of the Aegean region has reached the end of its fertility journey of thousands of years. Today; it has been turned into a draining channel of industrial, geothermal and domestic wastes. The host of civilizations; the Great Meandros has become poisoned and is slowly dying. This film intends to be the voice of the Great Meandros which is telling a lot of things with foamy waves throughout its 600 km. journey. The film is probably the last letter to us from the Great Meandros. Hope that we will sit back and watch no more.

I graduated from Aegean Universty with “Relationship Between Cinema and Space” doctoral thesis in 2013.I gave “Scriptwriting” lessons in some universities in Finland, Denmark, Poland, Macedonia as a guest lecturer. My photo projects exhibitioned international galleries and some special events in England, Bosnia Herzegova, Turkey.
I made short fiction film in 2016 : “First Encounter With Authority”. This film awarded 5 International prizes from U.S.A. and European countries and this film joined 35 film festivals in the World as a finalist. I made doc. Short film: “Master Kezban” this film awarded from Artlightenment FF U.S.A. (International Doc. Category, Runner-Up)
I joined some worjshops about “Art and Creativity” in Latvia, Spain, Greece. I made some photo projects about “Local Culture” in Finland, Spain, Ireland, Iceland, Kazakhistan, Kyrgyzstan.

I am working as an academician in Afyon Kocatepe Universty Fine Arts Faculty Cinema-T.V. Department.
