CALLING ALL UPCOMING SINGERS, BANDS, DANCERS & FASHION MODELS.
JOIN THE MOSSIMO MUSIC SUMMIT 2015!!!
Qualifications for Singers/Bands:
1. If you got what it takes to be the coolest new singing sensation, then you might be the one we’re looking for!
2. Open to individuals, duo or groups with 3 to 6 members, male/female or mixed. Should be Filipino citizens, 18 to 30 years old, should not have any existing recording contract with any record label and should have not commercially released any recording in the past.
How to join:
1. Via live auditions at Bluelight Studios located at 2F Forab Bldg., Kamuning Road, Quezon City, on June 8 & 9, 2015.
Auditions will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm only. All performances will be filmed for documentation.
2. Via online auditions, entries can be sent via private message athttps://www.facebook.com/pages/Mossimo-Music-Summit/1449185722041610?fref=ts
– in video (.mp4) format. Youtube links to performances will also be accepted.
Online submissions will be accepted from June 1 to 12, 2015.
3. Audition pieces can be any cover song, any genre, of the contestant’s choice, 3-5 minutes long.
4. All audition materials automatically become property of Mossimo.
5. Shortlisted contestants from the live and online auditions will be scheduled for four semi-final rounds, venues and dates tbc.
During the semi-final rounds, groups will be asked to perform one cover song of their
choice.
6. Contest is open nationwide; should entries from Vis-Min regions make it to the semi-final rounds, contestants should shoulder their travel and lodging expenses while in Manila.
7. A panel of distinct board of judges from different areas of the music business will screen all semi-finalists.
8. One winner from each semi final round will be selected and will compete during the grand finals which will be held on July 18, 2015, venue tbc.
For the grand finals round, each of the four finalists will be asked to sing one song, genre of their choice.
9. Prizes at stake:
• Grand prize:
– Php200,000 in cash (taxes will be shouldered by the winner)
– An exclusive recording and talent management contract with Curve Entertainment Inc.
– Winner automatically becomes one of Mossimo’s brand ambassadors, and will get a monthly clothing allowance of Php20,000 for 1 year.
– All finalists will receive Php25,000 in cash as consolation.
10. Criteria for Judging:
– Voice Quality 25%
– Musicianship 25%
– Stage Presence 25%
– Personality/Coolness Factor 15%
– Audience Impact 10%
11. Mossimo reserves the right to disqualify any contestant who may have not complied and/or violated rules of this competition.
Qualifications for Models:
• Male/Female – 15 to 25 years old
• Must attend the casting call in the following outfits:
– Females: Black tank tops, skinny blue jeans, black stilettos
– Males: black tank tops, fitted blue jeans, black shoes
Qualifications for Dance Groups:
* Each group must have a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 12 performing members.
* The members may be composed of all males, all females or mixed.
* Each group must prepare a modern dance in any genre strictly no longer than two minutes.
* Each group must submit the music material saved in both a CD and a USB at least two hours before the performance.
* Use of pyrotechnics or any combustible props is not allowed.
* Criteria for judging:
– Choreography (creativity, artistry, difficulty, style & originality)…. 50%
– Execution (timing & coordination, projection & expression)…….. 30%
– Costume ….10%
– Audience Impact…. 10%
