The Search for The Crowd Idol Season 2!
OPEN TO ALL GENRE. AUDITION FOR FULL BAND / ACOUSTIC / DUO / SOLO. If you are interested or know someone interested, refer them to audition EVERY TUESDAY for the month of AUGUST 2015 at The Crowd Bar and Resto located at 2F, Madison Square, Pioneer Street, Mandaluyong City.
Bring the following:
– Prepare atleast 2 songs
– Performers should be 16 years old and above
– Bring your own instrument, if you need accompaniment, though we have built in videoke on stage with great sound system
– INVITE guests for audience impact
Criteria for Judging:
Audience Vote 50%
Originality 25%
Musicality 25%

Mechanics:
• A year-long search for the next Crowd Idol! (Season 2).
• Open to all GENRE (Full band/ Duo/ Acoustic/ Solo).
• Performers should not have any professional recording contract with
• Members should not be younger than 16 years old
• Every performers will be posted in the official FB Page of The Crowd Bar and Resto
• Performers will be required to bring their own musical instruments during the elimination/ qualifying rounds/ grand finals
• Performers must prepare at least 2 songs. Can be original or cover songs (non-medley).
• Monthly elimination will start on August 2015. Final date will be announced.
• Only 1 finalist will be selected every month. (August 2015 – July 2016)
• 12 finalists will be competing for the Grand Finals on July 2016.
Prizes
• Gift Certificate worth 1,000.00 will be given to the winners of the monthly elimination round.
• Grand Winner will receive the following:
o Php20,000.00 Cash
o 1 digitally mastered recording with free music video
o Trip to Boracay (for 1pax only)
o Derma Facial services (c/o Venus Esthetica)
o 1 year contract performance with The Crowd Bar & Resto.

HELP ACTORS NEEDED
Hello Hello. I need 2 actors to perform for this year’s Short and Sweet. Short and Sweet is a 10 minute play festival which will be held in MOA this September. Everyone is working for free for this one; some sort of for the love thing. I joined last year, and it’s a great soiree of theater practitioners, amateur or professional. Rehearsals will be in Marikina, DITO: Bahay ng Sining, scheduled around our schedules.
Play: Eggshells
A parent and child struggle about the futility of art in a society which no longer seems to need art. All this in a context of cancer and eggshell painting.
Needs: Parent (can play 40 and above), Child (20’s)— proficient in English
