Growing up, and even now, schools don’t really cater to different learning styles. Everyone is taught the same lessons at the same time. The bad thing is not everyone learns the same way. The best way to make sure you are actually learning what is being presented to you is to know your specific learning style. This book has great insight into all the different learning styles and ways to help retain information regardless of how it is presented to you. As we learn new things on a daily basis, I would recommend this book to everyone.

I do a lot of self learning and self study and so I got this book because I’m always looking for ways to improve and learn faster and easier. The book is short but have some good advice to help improve the memory along with other techniques. The book is not very long but if you don’t know what to do then this is better than nothing. Given that the book is not that long and the reading experience is fluid, the lack of a working table of content is not a problem. This could be a good place to start but not the definitive one.

This book is an excellent examination on how we can be more aware of the self that we are during learning processes and how we can increase the quality of our performance in any domain where purposeful action is required. The Author is unrestrained in sharing with the reader his inner thoughts and processes of the extraordinary learning. What makes this even more valuable is that he is a very astute observer of the self and of others. This book can serve as great motivation and a useful tool to assist you on your journey of mastery or it can be hugely depressing because it shows the insane amount of devotion and sacrifice it takes to reach those levels. I’m firmly in the former camp myself and will be re-reading this book again in the future.
