Director Biography – Christophe Mavroudis

Developing a passion for fantastic, science fiction, fantasy, B-movies since childhood, Christophe Mavroudis joined the specialized magazine “Science-Fiction Magazine” at the age of 23. Co-founder in 2005 of Mefamo, a non profit organization born in the wake of a parodic amateur film he produced and directed, he has participated in several institutional films, while organizing film screenings and workshops.
Specialized in genre films, he adapted “Voisins”, a violent, gory, dystopic short film, from author Renato Lazzaroni’s short story in 2012.
While contributing to the Offscreen Film Festival, he regularly takes part in other independent film productions (“Les bêtes aveugles”) and gives speeches on digital images.
His current work includes, among other projects, a collaboration with Antoine Bours (the “Public Enemy” series) on a fantastic anthologic show based on famous author Jean Ray.
